Former LSU Tiger and current Baton Rouge radio host T-Bob Hebert joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the national championship game and the season that LSU had.

T-Bob said that you might never see this type of dominance again.

“As we sit here today, Ed Orgeron led LSU to a 15-0 record, they’re the only team ever to beat 7 AP top 10 teams, they’re the only team to beat the preseason top 4 teams in the country.” Hebert said “It was all done by Joe Burrow, getting it done, setting records 60 touchdown’s through the air, 65 responsible for on the year, are you kidding me? What you witnessed last night, what you witnessed this year, who knows if we will see it again, regardless if you’re an LSU fan or not I demand you appreciate the greatness you were just privy to.”

Hebert said when LSU get dominant was when the defense started playing better.

“When they got dominant, when they got this thing to the next level, it was because the defense finally came together and started to perform at the talent level they have.” Hebert said “There were a lot of people panicking the defense is terrible, low and behold Grant Delpit got healthy, you had the emergence of a couple of freshman and all of a sudden you have a defense with multiple first round picks on it, the defense that everyone expected to see.”
