Where Is MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred?

Major League Baseball and the Player's Association still haven't been able to agree on terms to getting the season restarted. 

MLB rejected the player's proposal of a 114-game season with no additional salary cuts, and they don't plan on making a counterproposal.


The NBA and MLS recently announced their plans to return with players approval. Both commissioners, Adam Silver for the NBA and Don Garber for MLS, have been vocal on trying to get a plan in place.

But where is MLB commissioner Rob Manfred?

"I feel like he has gotten so much criticism, and rightfully so in my opinion, recently that I don't know if he wants to be like putting himself out there too much," 92.9 The Game reporter Joe Patrick told Andy and Randy. 

"He has not really taken a--put down an iron fist on the situation, and maybe that's the right way to go about it. Maybe that's the way you build consensus is to not be that guy. At some point, there's got to be some kind of strongmen on both sides that say 'hey, we need to get this done.'"

"It would just be completely unacceptable for these sides not to come to an agreement."
