Why Falcons Will Trade Up In 1st Round

Today marks exactly two weeks from the 2020 NFL Draft. The Atlanta Falcons hold the No. 16 overall pick with an additional five picks. 

With just two weeks remaining until the 2020 NFL Draft, what position do you think the Falcons draft with the No. 16 overall pick? --

In general manager Thomas Dimitroff's 12-year tenure with the Falcons, they have made five first round trades. And they moved up in each of those trades. 

So what's the likelihood that Dimitroff and the Falcons would actually trade back in the first round? 

"When you look at what the Falcons need, and I think we agree there's a variety of needs, but one of the things they really need is that interior defensive line help," Andy Bunker said. "If you really identify one of those guys that you want whether it's Derrick Brown or Javon Kinlaw, you're not going to be able to get them at No. 16."

"I think the Falcons are going to move up. I really do. I think the Falcons are going to make a--I know they're going to make a selection in the first round. I don't think it's going to be at No. 16 and I do think it's going to be higher than 16."
