The Atlanta Falcons hold the No. 14 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, now only two days away. While history has shown us Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff likes to move up in the draft, there may be more value in moving back.
The Athletic Falcons reporter Jason Butt said if Atlanta can't manage to get DE Quinnen Williams, DT Ed Oliver or DE Montez Sweat, they should consider moving back.
"You've got to be mindful of these other teams, and what you've seen out there about liking a guy like (OL) Cody Ford," Butt said. "I think he's a guy that can wind up going a lot earlier than a lot of people expect."
"I think if those guys are in the 6-8 range, I think if you're Atlanta you start picking up the phone...more so for Ed Oliver."
