The Atlanta Braves signed former Cy Young winner Felix Hernandez over the weekend.

"Personally, I love it," Andy Bunker of the Midday Show said. (If you didn't know, Andy grew up in Seattle as a Mariners fan).

"As a fan of the Braves, okay. We'll see."

The 33-year-old veteran pitcher signed to a minor league deal with the Braves. He'll join the rest of his Braves teammates in Orlando for Spring Training.

Hernandez will earn $1 million if he makes the roster. It's low risk, but is there any chance he has an impact?

"Look at what late in his career has looked like: bad. He hasn't been King Felix since like 2014."

Could Hernandez have been brought in to compete for the 5th starting rotation spot because the Braves are putting other guys on the trade block for an unhappy Nolan Arenado? Probably not, but it's an interesting theory.

"If it works out, it's great. If it doesn't, it doesn't cost any money."
