With the Little League World Series going on in Williamsport, PA a trend from that tournament is being discussed by some in Major League Baseball.

— Yankees Videos (@snyyankees) August 16, 2019The World Baseball Classic currently has a mercy rule of 10 runs after 7 innings and the IBF has a mercy rule if the losing team agrees to forfeit the rest of the game.
So the idea of a mercy rule in baseball isn't unheard of, but most don't feel it has a place in Major League Baseball.
