Entercom, the parent company of 92-9 The Game, held approximately 50 Earth Day volunteer events nationwide, including one right here in Atlanta at The Metro Atlanta Urban Farm in College Park, engaging more than 3,000 volunteers across the company as part of its 1Thing Sustainability Initiative. The program marks the largest coordinated Earth Day volunteer initiative the company has ever conducted.

We started the day with John & Hugh live in front of The Metro Atlanta Urban Farm and then headed out into the fields after the show to weed, plant, seed, water, paint, clean and more! What a great Earth Day 2019!

"Entercom has a long-standing commitment to sustainability and helping the environment. Our 1Thing program has been a cornerstone of our work to be a socially responsible corporate citizen, making the world a better place," said David Field, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Entercom. "Today, more than 3,000 members of the Entercom team will be leaving the office and heading out to work on projects all across the country in every market we serve."

Entercom volunteers participated in local environmental service projects that made a positive impact on their communities and the planet. Projects including tree planting, park and waterway cleanups, recycling projects and habitat restoration, among others.
