“These are the biggest games in the world in the sport which is the biggest sport in the world that happens every four years," Jason Longshore told The Morning Shift. "These are all huge games, and that semifinal is gonna be on a whole other level.”
Atlanta United color analyst and host of Atlanta Soccer Tonight Jason Longshore had that to say when Beau Morgan asked him what Atlanta was going to be like in 2026 during the month that the FIFA World Cup is in the city.
Not only is Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the perfect spot in Atlanta when it comes to being in the center of the city, but Atlanta also has the infrastructure when it comes to transportation, food, entertainment, hotels and other forms of housing to support the tourism the 2026 FIFA World Cup will bring to the city.
Atlanta’s soccer culture has only gotten better since Atlanta United started in 2017, and now Atlanta deservedly so is being put on the global stage, and there should be no doubt the city will shine and be great hosts to whatever fans of whatever team get to visit Atlanta for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
