Packers star Aaron Jones left it all on the field during his dominant four-touchdown performance on Monday night against the Lions -- including a very important piece of family history.

Following the four-score outburst, Jones revealed that during the game, he had been wearing a necklace carrying some of the ashes of his father, who died of Covid-19 complications in the spring.

Only, the football-shaped bauble apparently came loose at some point during Green Bay's 35-17 victory over division-rival Detroit.

Despite the sentimental value of the necklace, the 2020 Pro Bowler seemed unfazed by having lost it, suggesting his dad would have approved of having his remains lost on the gridiron.

“If there was any place to lose it, that’s where my dad would’ve wanted me to lose it,” Jones told reporters. “So I know he’s smiling.”

But the story actually had a happy ending.

During a Tuesday morning radio appearance, Jones confirmed the necklace was later recovered from the turf at Lambeau Field.

Jones' big night was marked by one rushing score, and three through the air. He accounted for 115 yards from scrimmage on 17 carries and 6 receptions.

Jones' father, Alvin, was 56 when he passed away.

"My dad is the greatest man I've ever encountered," Jones wrote in the Players Tribune in June, weeks after his father's death.
