The Memphis Express of the AAF (Alliance of American Football) debuted in Birmingham against the Birmingham Iron in front of 17,000 in attendance at Legion Field and got blasted 26-0.
Mike Singletary certainly has work to do, essentially getting dominated on offense. QB Christian Hackenberg wasn't accurate, often throwing into triple-coverage, getting picked off once. Backup QB Brandon Silvers also threw one pick.
92.9 On-Air Staff and other outlets noted:
Let’s score next week, @aafexpress. Like those jackets. Don’t like that offense.
