The Memphis Express of the AAF (Alliance of American Football) debuted in Birmingham against the Birmingham Iron in front of 17,000 in attendance at Legion Field and got blasted 26-0.

Mike Singletary certainly has work to do, essentially getting dominated on offense. QB Christian Hackenberg wasn't accurate, often throwing into triple-coverage, getting picked off once.  Backup QB Brandon Silvers also threw one pick.

92.9 On-Air Staff and other outlets noted:

Let’s score next week, @aafexpress. Like those jackets. Don’t like that offense.

My 2012 Trent Richardson takes are feeling validated.

Let's review Christian Hackenberg's 1st half performance for the Memphis Express. If you have young children, please ask them to leave the room. #AAF pic.twitter.com/uE1RmpNVfj
