Acuña's return hasn't boosted the Braves offense one bit

Ronald Acuña Jr. has returned to action for the Atlanta Braves and while he's been good since coming back, clubbing two home runs and a double while hitting .313 and playing solid defense, the Braves offense hasn't taken off, including being shut-out for the first time since the first two weeks of the season.

"They need a lot more from the other guys, and that speaks to the problem for this club. You've got a whole bunch of hitters that just aren't doing it, and the pitching, I'm going on a solid month of not being able to point at that group and saying you didn't get enough on the mound," says 92.9 the Game Braves Insider Grant McAuley. "A sub 3.00 ERA tells me the pitching staff is doing what they need to, the fact that the Braves offense is having trouble scoring more than three runs, is the bigger issue for this team right now."

The Braves have lost three of four games since Ronald Acuña Jr. returned and facing a increasingly tough schedule, it might get worse before it gets better no matter how sharp Acuña is as he gets back to full strength.
