After six straight division titles and a World Series in 2021, the Atlanta Braves have long been considered the best team in Atlanta by default. However, after a sweep of the Orioles dropped the Braves record to an abysmal record of 39-50, their worst record since 2017, it seems there's consideration that a different Atlanta team is grabbing the reigns as the city's best.

The Atlanta Hawks have spent this offseason improving the roster around Trae Young with the additions of Kristaps Porzingis, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Luke Kennard all poised toward competing at the top of the wide open Eastern Conference.

Steak Shapiro and Drew Butler discussed on The Steakhouse Monday morning whether the Hawks have surpassed the Braves as the city's best.
