Carl Dukes: 'We can't be ready to run Ronald Acuna Jr. out of town'

Still not time for Braves to give up on Ronald Acuna Jr.

While the Atlanta Braves got over the hump of advancing to the Major League Baseball, National League division series for the first time since 2023, the team’s offensive production has been under scrutiny as they have a .196 batting average through their first six postseason games this season, leading to many to call out several players, including Ronald Acuna Jr.

“The criticism is fair. It’s fair,” 92-9 the Game’s Carl Dukes said of Acuna Jr. as he and cohost, Mike Bell shared thoughts on the struggling All-Star right-fielder. “But he’s got a chance to go hit tonight and maybe win a game or help us win a game and continue to advance and if we do, then this narrative can change really quickly,” Dukes said.
