As of Thursday morning June 2nd the Braves are 24-27, 10.5 games back of the New York Mets (who have the largest division lead in MLB by 5 games) and 4 games back of the 2nd wild card spot in the National League (currently held by the St. Louis Cardinals).

The 2022 MLB trade deadline is exactly 2 months from the posting of this article, August 2nd. The Braves famously made a number of acquisitions last year at the trade deadline that saw them go from a team hovering around .500 to World Series champions. How does what happened last season and what has happened so far this season impact the moves of Braves General Manager Alex Anthopolous moving forward?

Some of the players discussed in the audio clip above include Adam Duvall, Charlie Morton, Kenley Jansen and Dansby Swanson.

You can tune into Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 10a-2p on 92.9 The Game.
