The Braves lost game one of the NLDS to the Phillies 7-6, and while there may be some panic among the fans, Brian Snitker and the team certainly didn't show any afterwards.
92.9 The Game Atlanta Braves Insider Grant McAuley explains why he's still incredibly confident about the Braves chances to beat the Phillies and advance to the NLCS.
"The Braves have been a team that have been so focused on each day is its own entity, each day is its own opportunity, and they look at winning that day and don't allow themselves to look to far ahead," says Grant McAuley. "A year ago they lost Game 1 of the Division Series and went on a nice run to beat the Brewers, Dodgers, and Astros, so it looks a little different, but there are a lot of echoes of how the Braves have played in the not-so recent past and things turned out pretty well for them and Atlanta has been a pretty good club all season long in terms of winning series."
The Atlanta Braves will have their chance to even the series with the Phillies today as Zack Wheeler takes on Kyle Wright.
