Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Mike Johnson, Ali Mac, and Beau Morgan explained why they think the Atlanta Braves game two win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in LA last night in their best of five NLDS completely flipped the series.
“This completely flips the entire series, being able to put a bullpen game out there against that roster, that lineup, and go out and win a game off the back of those pitchers and essentially Michael Harris.” Mike Johnson said
The Braves are now set up as well as they possibly could to win the next two games and eliminate the two-time defending champion Dodgers as Atlanta has their two best pitchers, Chris Sale and Tyler Mahle, lined up to start the next two games in front of their home crowd.
It feels like the Braves are in the driver's seat in this series now after their 3-2 win last night, and now it’s up to them to go take advantage of a really good opportunity that’s in front of them, win the next two games, eliminate the Dodgers, and move on to the NLCS.
