Braves await reinforcements as season resumes

The Major League Baseball trade deadline for the 2026 season is less than a month away however, if you are an Atlanta Braves fan and expect the team to make a move for another pitcher or two, there is a chance you could be disappointed.

“You’ve got bodies and arms that you go look, this is where we were and we had one of the best starting staffs in the league and we got off to a great start,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he explained why he believes the beginning to the Braves season, may give reason for the front office to be hesitant on making a trade as they expect several key players to make their way back from injury.

“I’m not telling you that they’re not going to make a move, but the thing I’ve been thinking about is, what if they’re thinking about this, this way and going, ok you know what, what we really need is our bats to get hot and to get our bats back in this lineup, and we might be able to withstand and get through and be where we want to be with all this arms we have coming back,” Dukes said.
