The team is equipped and battle-tested enough to allow for their struggles and loss of key players to settle down and get them back on track naturally.
Boone joined Dukes & Bell Tuesday and says a fiery meeting is not the recipe for success when a team this talented gets down. The players need to perform like the backs of their baseball cards, period. Matt Olson, Austin Riley and Michael Harris all need to make the order as feared as it was in 2023 when they were one of the most potent offenses in the game.
Manager Brian Snitker has seen all of the ups-and-downs of the franchise over the past few seasons. He is a true "gut" manager and has as good of a pulse on his squad as any skipper in the sport. He needs to guide his team one day at a time back to where they need to be.
