Expectations are everything in sports, and it is no secret what the city of Atlanta and the baseball world expects from the Braves.

The Braves are playing to be the best team in the world, and to win a World Series. What seems to be the biggest concern for Braves fans, is availability and the team being riddled with injuries. The Braves are now getting a return of Michael Soroka, who at one point in time was one of the best pitchers on the Braves roster.

Miles Garrett joined Sam and Greg Monday and shared his thoughts on Michael Soroka coming back from his injury and what this Braves team would look like with Soroka playing with Ronald Acuña Jr. and Max Fried.

“If you get those three-headed monsters to come back in their true form, this team is going to be absolutely scary to see,” said Garrett.

Patience is a hard thing to come by when the fans, the organization, and players have expectations to win now. But if the Braves can get a Soroka that we once saw, like Garrett alluded to, this could be a “three-headed monster” for the Braves. Depth has been one of the key ingredients for this Braves team, and luckily it is a long season. It will be interesting to see how the Braves continue to work Soroka back into the swing of things.
