Didier Fuentes built on an impressive Spring Training with a strong four-inning relief outing during MLB’s opening weekend, appearing in the Atlanta Braves’ 4–1 loss Sunday. That performance has now seemingly led to the organization sending him to Gwinnett to stretch him out to roughly 90 pitches as he begins transitioning into a starting role. Fuentes could become a valuable member of the Braves rotation as they continue to due with injury setbacks up-and-down the pitching order.
