The MLB season has begun and our Atlanta Braves are not getting off to a great start. Joe Patrick, 92.9 The Game Braves’ Insider joins Sam Crenshaw and Greg Clarkson Easter Sunday morning. The Braves kicked off their season Thursday in Philadelphia against the Phillies and fell short in the 10th inning 3-2. Saturday’s game against the Phillies was not as close as the Braves fell to the Phillies 0-4.
Greg Clarkson asked Joe Patrick why Braves fans should not be worried that the Braves do not have a W in the win column. Patrick says this is a small sample size and that this reminds him of the 2019 team that lost their first series against the Phillies but won the division. Patrick does say that some of the things that he was concerned about coming into the season is starting to rear its ugly head, namely the team is not really hitting well.
Patrick is still high on the team due to the depth. Patrick feels like the stars of the team will eventually hit but it will take some time for all this to come together.
