Braves' promotion of Orlando Arcia to LF signals help is not on the way

The Atlanta Braves dropped a second consecutive game to the lowly Pirates on Tuesday evening mustering just one run, a solo shot by infielder-turned-outfielder Orlando Arcia.

Despite producing 20 runs for the second time this season just a week ago, the Braves offense is clearly a problem, just one of many the team has.

The Braves need help, on the field and in the pen. But there doesn't seem to be any signs that aid is coming.

The promotion of Arcia to left field after just a few starts at that position in the minors should signal that the team isn't actively in the market to improve their club.

92.9 The Game Braves Insider Joe Patrick joined John and Hugh to discuss Arcia and if help is on the way.

"It's so clear that this team needs major improvements in the outfield and bullpen," details Joe Patrick. "You have to put most options on the table, that's how bad it's been. I do think the Braves should explore a move to fill this outfield position. You might as well do it now to get some improvement the rest of the year.
