Is all the pressure on the Mets in series with Braves?

New York Mets analyst Nelson Figueroa joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the series with the Braves that starts tonight at Truist field, Figueroa talked about why it is way too early for pressure to be on either team in this three game series.

When asked if all the pressure is on the Mets in the three game series with Braves.

“Too early, too early in the season to be pressure’s on, I think for both teams,” Figueroa said. “This is a good checkpoint, this is a good sparring match, this isn’t the knock down drag out fight that we will clamoring for in September.”

Figueroa said this series is just a sparring match for a late season battle between the two teams.

“I think this is a good sparring match to see where everybody is at, you want to be able to take a few punches, and land a few punches. We’ll see after this series ends, I don’t think it’s gonna be the last they see of each other down the stretch.”
