Replay Reviews no longer deserve a place in sports

Last night on Sunday Night Baseball, the Phillies and Braves were tied in the ninth inning when the Phillies scored the go-ahead run on a close play at the plate.

Despite the replays showing quite clearly that Alex Bohm's foot didn't touch the plate, the review led to the officiating crew sticking with the original safe call, which led to outrage from fans.

Various players and analysts across MLB shared their thoughts on the awful decision via social media.

While certainly this blown call hits a bit closer to home as it possibly cost the Braves a game to the NL East rival Phillies, they aren't the only team or only sport to deal with a bad replay review system.

On Monday morning, Nick Kayal and Hugh Douglas chat about the robbery the Braves suffered at the hands of the umpiring crew on Sunday night.

"We have these measures in place, we have the technology, we've got all these different ways to get it right, so if we're going to have the technology, it's all in place, we need to get it right," says a frustrated Nick Kayal. "Major League Baseball should come out today and Rob Manfred should step up to the podium and say we got it wrong as a league."
