On Tuesday Andy & Randy were joined by 92.9 The Game Atlanta Braves Insider Grant McAuley who was asked about when Braves fans will see Ozzie Albies back with the big league club.
“I don’t think we are that far. I think by the middle of this week maybe tomorrow or Thursday we are going to be seeing Ozzie go on a rehab assignment if he has checked all the boxes and everything checked out well,” Grant replied when asked when we will see Ozzie return to the big leagues from his foot injury.
“I don’t know if it’s 5, 7, 8 games in the minors and then he is ready to go or if he looks good after 4 or 5 that they just bring him back up and let him hit his way back into the everyday lineup,” Grant added.
Grant also went on to mention how difficult these roster decisions will be for the Braves rest of the season.
