One time is a fluke. Two times is a habit, and if Brian Snitker leads the Atlanta Braves to another World Series title, it will become a habit to call him the best manager in baseball. However, could he take an even bigger step forward?

Many consider Bobby Cox to be the best manager in Braves' franchise history. With Snitker in the midst of a season where the braves have the best record in the MLB and are running away with their sixth straight NL East division title, would his second title in three seasons put him above Cox? Eric Slaughter asked Lindsay Crosby, host of the "Locked on MLB Prospects" podcast, that very question on Tuesday's edition of "Timeout w/ Eric Slaughter"

"What this answer comes down to is do you look at peak or longevity?" said Crosby when asked. Crosby stated that Cox's 25-year career as the Braves' manager makes it hard to ever see him being dethroned. That being said Snitker is certainly making a strong push for the crown.

Crosby went on to say, "If Brian Snitker wins a second championship, he's absolutely 1A and 1B with Bobby Cox...they're going to be equals."

According to Crosby the biggest obstacle in Snitker's road to overtaking Cox is rooted in how intertwined the two's careers are. "Because you can't tell the story of Brian Snitker without telling the story of Bobby Cox its hard for him to pass Bobby."
