The 5-3 Atlanta Falcons are welcoming in the Dallas Cowboys for a 1PM tilt at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A win verse Dallas would not only put them further ahead in the NFC standings but would also put them directly in the sports media spotlight.

The Dallas Cowboys chew up headlines on national sports talk shows win or lose on a weekly basis. The Falcons will ultimately be the tertiary headline, but if they win in convincing fashion it will highlight the team in a way that many casual football fans may not have seen to date. The Falcons have yet to become a national team that all fans follow week in and week out and a win vs Dallas will allow for so many more eyes to see highlights from this game that showcase what they can do.

The 3-4 Cowboys will come to Atlanta hungry for a win so this game will by no means by a gimme for the Falcons but they can go a long way in pumping up their national narrative as a contender with a W.
