Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Mike Johnson, Ali Mac, and Beau Morgan explained why they think all four of the Atlanta Falcons quarterbacks have a legitimate chance at starting a game for the Falcons at some point this season.

“Never seen anything like this for any football team where you could literally tell me four different guys would be your quarterback at some point over the next couple weeks and I would have to believe you because it’s just absolutely insane.” Mike Johnson said

There’s a chance for any of the four Falcons quarterbacks to start this week. If Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. both still aren’t ready to go Cooper Rush or Jack Strand could start. If Tua’s oblique injury is cleared up but Penix Jr. still isn’t ready to play yet then Tua will probably start this week, and be the starter until Michael Penix Jr. is ready to return to the field and then Penix will take over.

If the Falcons season ends up going downhill, Falcons Head Coach Kevin Stefanski, General Manager Ian Cunningham and President of Football Matt Ryan may want to see what their undrafted free agent out of MSU Moorhead can do, so they can gauge his potential.

As of right now the Falcons short term and long term quarterback situation is still completely up in the air.
