Falcons slow start vs Bears pivotal in 4th quarter rally being stiffled
Despite a valiant fourth quarter effort in which they scored 16 points, the Atlanta Falcons late rally fell short as they lost to the Chicago Bears 31-23, in a game which they found themselves trailing 31-7 with 12:12 remaining in the game.
“You’re not going to win games in this league by playing three bad quarters and 10 good minutes of football,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he and cohost Mike Bell shared thoughts on Atlanta’s fourth loss of the season and he explained the Falcons’ 16-point fourth quarter came too late.
“That’s what yesterday was, three bad quarters, 10 good minutes, made us feel a little bit better, ‘I feel encouraged,’ but you’re not going to win football games that way,” Dukes said.Falcons come up short in fourth quarter comeback attempt
