The Atlanta Falcons are no strangers to having big-name players suit up for the franchise. From Deion Sanders to Matt Ryan, plenty of household names have been on the roster. However, many would say none have garnered more excitement for the team than Michael Vick.

On Wednesday, as Steak Shapiro and Rusty Mansell reacted to the latest coming out of the Falcons' joint practices with the Dolphins, the two shared their thoughts on how No. 7 could once again rejuvenate the Falcons fanbase.

“Bijan feels like a guy that the rest of the league could be talking about,” Shapiro said. Mansell agreed. “He’s special."

And while they both agreed that Robinson may not be considered the “alpha” of the Falcons locker room, they both believe that he showed enough in his rookie season that he could very well generate fan excitement and support mirroring the days of Vick.

“He’s the highlight-film guy that everybody’s going to be like, ‘did you see what he did,'" Shapiro said. Shapiro and Mansell agreed that Robinson could draw comparisons to Julio Jones as far as recent players that fans looked forward to seeing suit up.

And while the midday host continued to with their thoughts on Robinson, Mansell noted that the Falcons will have to be sure to include him in one particular phase of their offense.

“Bijan Robinson has to be involved in the passing game or we’re wasting him,” Mansell added.
