The Atlanta Falcons have begun their internal look at their defense before they pivot to looking at what players could be viewed as outside targets. One player, unfortunately, that won't have any tape to review is their third-round pick Bralen Trice. Trice suffered a season-ending injury in the preseason but was having a promising start to his Falcons career in camp.
Trice's return in 2025 could be the exact piece the team needs to bolster their maligned pass-rush. He is a high energy player that chew up blocks and allow other rushers to get a clear lane to the opposing quarterback. The team should still look to add another rusher in the upcoming draft but Trice is a solid piece that hopefully returns to the form he was showing off.
The Falcons are still looking for their first double-digit sack artist since 2016. Trice may not be able to put up gaudy numbers but he will certainly be a valuable asset.
