Davis signing doesn't mean Falcons won't draft a running back

The Falcons made moves today as they signed free agent running back Mike Davis formally of the Carolina Panthers. The guys on Dukes & Bell talked about the signing and does this mean that the Falcons are out of the market for a running back in the NFL Draft?

Bell talked about what the Falcons are getting in Mike Davis.

“He combined for about just under eleven hundred yards from scrimmage, including over three hundred and some odd yards catching the ball out of the backfield.” Bell said “excited, I think we can still add another running back, I don’t think this defines what we’re gonna do in the draft but this is a guy who I think in a good system, if we can tweak the offensive line can have some success.”

Carl said this doesn’t mean Falcons won’t draft a running back.

“Can Mike Davis be an everyday back? The answer is yes, do you want to do that and I don’t think so.” Dukes said “I think that the answer could be a give and take with a guy that you draft and you grow. This is a stop gap to me, this is a 2 year deal, let us build the team let us have a viable guy to give the ball to, but in the meantime we still feel good about our running game. But it does not mean that we won’t draft a running back.”
