It was just two short weeks ago when the Falcons were flying high entering a road game with the Saints. Raheem Morris was 3-1 as interim head coach, coming off a bye week, and the Saints had just lost Drew Brees to injury.
What seemed like it should have been a big advantage for the Falcons was actually to the detriment of their chance, and the Saints won 24-9. But things are different this time around.
In Week 11 there was no film on Taysom Hill. Now there's two weeks of film, including what did and didn't work for the Falcons in the loss. The Falcons also know what cost them the game in New Orleans (protecting the QB) and should have adjustments prepared.
Former NFL RB and Saints analyst Deuce McAllister joined John and Hugh and spoke about how things will be different this time around.
“I do not expect the eight-sack performance by that defense. I think Matt Ryan will get rid of the football,” says Deuce McAllister. “When you talk about a rivalry and what they can do offensively and playmakers up the middle on defense, there’s a lot to worry about.”
