Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Ali Mac, Mike Johnson and Beau Morgan began to preview the Atlanta Falcons matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and explained why they think the Falcons must control the clock and win the time of possession battle to neutralize the Bengals offense
“This is the prototypical, hey we need to really lean on Bijan and time of possession has to be in our favor, that is the prototype of what we’re going to see.” Mike Johnson said
The best way the Falcons can stop Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Chase Brown, and the rest of this Bengals offense from scoring is too keep them on the sideline for as long as possible, and the only way that happens is if Atlanta’s offense stays on the field, goes on long methodical drives, controls the clock, and wins the time of possession battle against Cincy.
