As the Atlanta Falcons continue to prepare for their Week 14 matchup with the Seahawks, they look to correct some of their challenges including issues they have had with their special teams’ unit, which played a pivotal role in Atlanta’s 27-24 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
“You never ever really want to point the finger at one side of the ball or one phase or one thing, but in this particular game, you just have to be honest,” Falcons head coach, Raheem Morris head coach, Raheem Morris said on Wednesday as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Mike Bell and Beau Morgan and explained how the team is addressing their problems.
“I felt like it’s always the best policy to be honest with your guys and be honest with your fans and everybody that’s listening because you have to be,” Morris said as he expressed why he believes the Falcons facing the truths about individual and team performances.
“It’s not pointing the finger, it’s not blaming, it’s something we have to fix, it’s something that I’m a part of, something we’re all a part of, but at the same time you just have to be honest with everyone that’s a part of it,” Morris said.
