NFL Network and Atlanta Falcons contributor Steve Wyche joined the show for his weekly appearance on the show and talked about why the Falcons play calling isn’t to blame for the team’s inconsistent performances this season.

Wyche talked about play calling for the Falcons.

“It’s the Falcons season, it’s fits and starts, we’ve been saying this for months, they’re gonna look good at times. Some of those times it’ll be a play, some of those times it’ll be a game and they’re gonna look bad at times,” Wyche said. “It is all about manipulating situations, there’s just not the consistency there, there’s not the personnel to do it there. The play calling, I’m not gonna question it, I think what Arthur Smith has done with this team and the personnel he’s had is been pretty damn good this season.”

Could the Falcons roster look significantly different next year?

“But look these guys competed, they had Tampa Bay on the ropes for a while and I just think that’s as good as this team is. Tampa Bay is going to win this division, the Falcons are gonna to be competitive and they’re going to have a completely different looking roster in 2022.”
