The Atlanta Falcons got off to a 6-3 start with $40 Million starting QB Kirk Cousins leading the way, but they fell off starting in Week 10 and ultimately had to replace him with rookie QB Michael Penix. There was a lot of speculation about what went wrong and what could be wrong with Cousins, but there hadn't been any official confirmation until this morning when Kirk Cousins joins Good Morning Football on NFL Network.

"We were 6-3, playing well, but then against the Saints got hit pretty good in my right shoulder and elbow and just never could get it to where I wanted it," Kirk Cousins admitted to Good Morning Football Host Jamie Erdahl, the first public acknowledgement that there was something wrong physically.

The Falcons would go on to lose the next three games following the injury sustained in the Saints loss in Week 10, but it took until Week 16 for Cousins to be placed on the bench and the team turned over to Michael Penix. With this information coming out, there could be more questions asked of head coach Raheem Morris as to why a switch wasn't made sooner, considering the 4-game losing streak ultimately cost the Falcons the NFC South Division Title.

In the clip above, Andy and Randy share some extreme frustration with the fact that he was injured and changes weren't made sooner, and debate who's at fault for sticking with a quarterback who was severely limited.
