The 6-3 Atlanta Falcons are in prime position to make a playoff run. The team is looking to break its postseason drought and could do so in emphatic fashion by running away with the NFC South. One thing that could stand in their way is a lack of pass-rush.

The team decided to not address its biggest area of need and the question is why?

Multiple reports surfaced the team had interest in former Georgia Bulldogs and current New York Giants linebacker Azeez Ojulari, but the two sides could not come to terms on compensation. It remains unclear if the team was involved with other edge players that found new homes including Preston Smith of the Packers.

The team heads to division rival New Orleans on Sunday and will look to build on its three sack performance against the Cowboys last weekend.
