The Falcons have traded a 2023 fifth-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for wide receiver Bryan Edwards and a 2023 seventh-round pick.

Edwards is entering his third year in the NFL after being selected 81st overall out of South Carolina in the 2020 NFL Draft. In two years with the Raiders the wide out started 15 of 28 games and amassed 45 receptions, 764 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns.

The Falcons came into the offseason with one of the worst wide receiver rooms in the NFL. Edwards, who is 6'3", is the latest big body the Falcons have added over the last two years, including Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and Auden Tate. All of whom are 6'3" or taller.
