The Atlanta Falcons have many options as they hold the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft in April.
If the Falcons stay put at No. 4, many believe they will go quarterback. However, if they were to trade back for picks, the team could go in several directions since they have many positions of need to fill.
One such position is at defensive end. The Falcons have struggled to find a good-to-great edge-rusher over the years.
But who better to ask than former Falcons defensive end Chuck Smith, who trains many edge rushers prior to and after they get drafted. He joined The Midday Show and said the Falcons must do everything they can to draft who he thinks is the best pass-rusher in the draft.
And Georgia Bulldogs fans, you'll be happy to hear what he said.
"If the Falcons are smart, and I'm not putting no pressure on them but I am, do what you've got (to do) to get this kid (Azeez) Ojulari," Smith told Andy and Randy.
"To me, he is the best rusher in this draft. He is polished. Listen, Ojulari comes in the NFL Day 1 and he's a threat. If I'm the Atlanta Falcons, I'm doing whatever I can to get him."
The Georgia Bulldogs along with other college football programs around the country have had a bigger emphasis on Pro Days this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ojulari’s was recorded at 6-foot-2 with 34.3-inch arms. He ran a 4.62 and 4.66 40-yard-dash, a 30-inch vertical, 7.27 three-cone drill, and a 10'7” broad jump.
