'Proceed with caution,' Grady Jarrett says to fans criticizing Falcons for not playing starters in preseason

Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the work the team is putting in during training camp and why fans should trust the team will be ready for the regular season opener, even though the starters haven’t played yet in this preseason.

Grady told the guys that despite lack of preseason action the team will be ready when the regular season gets here.

“We’re always putting in work, whether it’s seen on TV or not, work is always being put in. The preseason games have been a little lopsided to say the least. When you have 1s playing 2s it’s gonna be a little lopsided but at the end of the day when it’s go time we’re gonna be ready to go,” Jarrett said.

“I would proceed with caution in being so quick to judgment with certain things," Jarrett continued. "Obviously Coach has a plan with what he wants to do and everybody here is buying in all the way and we trust him. I know when it’s go time guys are itching to get on that field.

“Nobody is hiding from work, nobody is hiding from nothing. We’ve got a plan and I believe in it between Coach and the front office here, and we feel good about going into the season.”
