The Atlanta Falcons are 1-0 as they achieved a gritty victory against NFC South rival Carolina Panthers. With Victory Monday behind us, It's time to turn our attention to the Green Bay Packers. With Jordan Love, Aaron Jones, Quay Walker and Romeo Doubs all starting the season fast, the right game plan is crucial.
Jordan Love started his season NFL game as a Packer quarterback but based on the way he played, you wouldn't know it. Keeping the offense moving and making the throws necessary, he looks poise to take over the superstar leader of a historic franchise. With a stat line of 15-27 for 245 and 3 touchdowns and no interceptions, the defensive line needs to be able to win the line of scrimmage and make the quarterback uncomfortable. On that note, the defensive backs have to be able to win their match ups, as the Packers want to find whichever receiver is open.
Running back Aaron Jones also had a great start to the season, scoring on the air and on the ground. In addition to the touchdowns, he 9 carries for 41 yards and 2 receptions for 86 yards. Unfortunately, he tweaked his hamstring running into then end zone and is listed questionable for Sunday's game. Similarly, Receiver Romeo Doubs, who had two touchdowns in week one, also has a hamstring injury and is listed question for Sunday's match up. Green Bay Packers defensive star of week one, Quay Walker, who picked off Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields for a pick six, is also listed as questionable for Sunday as he is in the concussion protocol.
The Falcons look to be getting healthier as joker Cordarrelle Patterson has been removed from the questionable list and defensive back Jeff Okudah has been upgraded from out to questionable, with him participating in Friday's practice. The only player left on Atlanta's injury report is linebacker Troy Anderson who is also in the concussion protocol.
