“I think he’s gonna be an asset, I do, when we get thru the draft whether it’s this year, next year and we’re team building and we’re seeing the talent on the field, there’s gonna be one guy we’re gonna be talking about. And that is Terry Fontenot, he is gonna have the final voice when it comes to this along with Arthur Smith who’s gonna be involved but this isn’t like Ryan Pace is behind close doors going ‘hey I really like this guy, you need to go with the other guy.’ He’s gonna give him valued opinions that I think is respected by our General Manager Terry Fontenot because they have a relationship,” Dukes said.

Dukes talked what Pace brings to Falcons.

“For anybody that’s concerned, ‘oh he wasn’t good in Chicago’, you bring in people you trust and when you talk about football and personnel you better be getting it right, if you’re a front office that’s not getting it right you’re not gonna last a long time. So Ryan Pace brings value, he was with the Saints too for 13 years before getting the Bears job, he helped too to build that team that was kicking our butt and making runs towards the Super Bowl, so I think he adds some value and that’s how I’m going to look at that this.”
