The Atlanta Falcons are betting on themselves in 2025. This team will need to see large steps forward from several young players if they want to take the next step and make the postseason for the first time since 2017.

Joe Patrick joined Chris Thomas to discuss what he's expecting from the young guys on this Falcons roster.

"It's going to be massive to see what those guys can do," he said. "And frankly, Chris, I'm excited to see it. I'm excited to see some of these younger guys unleash."

Michael Penix, Ruke Orhorhoro, Zach Harrison, Brandon Dorlus, JD Bertrand, Jalon Walker, James Pearce, and Xavier Watts. All of these guys will be expected to take on significant roles for the Falcons this season, despite all having played two or fewer seasons as pro.

Those players, despite their inexperience, will need to step up and play major roles for the Falcons this season. If they fall short of expectations, the success of this team may go with them.
