Several impactful former Georgia Bulldogs were on display in the Super Bowl. Defensive lineman Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith all impacted not only the biggest game of the season for the Eagles, but made big plays all season long. It's time for the Falcons to finally follow that blueprint and look to their in-state collegiate counterparts in the early rounds of the draft.
There is no real correlation between drafting from a particular school and future success, but this year's biggest game was so heavily impacted by lineman that played big roles for Kirby Smart it just becomes glaring how much the Falcons could benefit from similar production. The Falcons are in desperate need of help on all areas of the defensive line and UGA has become a factory for that kind of talent.
UGA has two players that could potentially be available for the Falcons to draft in Mykel Williams and Jalon Walker. If either of those star performers fall to 15 the Falcons need to consider pouncing right away and finally adding a top DAWG to their defensive front.
