After completing 23 of his 29 passes, passing for 276 yards, and throwing four touchdown passes Kirk Cousins against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season now has completed 65 of his 87 passes for 785 yards with eight touchdown passes and only one interception. Earlier today The Morning Shift reacted to Cousins leading the Atlanta Falcons to another win over the Buccaneers.

“He’s been special,” and he’s “been at another level facing Tampa Bay this year”. Mike Johnson said.

Beau Morgan echoed Mike’s sentiment saying “He’s been a couple passes short of flawless honestly.”

Former Atlanta Falcons Quarterback and now analyst for the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network Dave Archer joined The Morning Shift earlier today as well and said that Kirk has “a great feel for what they’re doing”, and that the Falcons’ QB1 was “just in that zone".

It’s become clear that Kirk has built a good relationship with Zac Robinson, has become comfortable in Robinson’s offense, and that he’s built a nice rapport with all of his weapons and his offensive line as well.

That comfort with the offense, his coaches, and teammates is showing in the results as well as the Falcons have now scored 30 plus points in three out of their last four games. Now, hopefully the success Cousins had against the Buccaneers this season will carry over and be replicated against other teams besides the Buccaneers.
