After the first weekend in November the Falcons found themselves at 6-3 with a significant lead in the NFC South after having a 4-0 record in the division. Fast forward to today after the Falcons dropped their 4th straight, not only do they no longer have the division lead, but they also don't have control of who wins the division without getting some help.
The Falcons do have the tie-breaker with the Buccaneers, but that will only come into play if they finish with identical records, and for that to happen, the Falcons need to not only win their games, but have someone else take down the Bucs in one of the leagues final four weeks.
The other concern is that the Falcons chances of nabbing a Wild Card spot is increasingly unlikely as well. Currently the Vikings, Packers, Seahawks, Commanders, & Rams all have a better records than Falcons, the Cardinals and 49ers have the same record, Cowboys could match them with a win tonight.
