The Cleveland Browns are currently set on not trading Myles Garrett, but eventually that stance will change, and the Browns and their General Manager Andrew Berry will open up the phone lines for Myles Garrett, and when that time comes National NFL Insider for The Athletic Jeff Howe believes there is “absolutely a scenario” where the Falcons and Browns complete a trade for Myles Garrett.
“I think that Cleveland when they get to the realization that ultimately like they're gonna have to move the guy, and they’re gonna look to the NFC first, and a team like Atlanta is certainly one of those teams, like no they’re not looked at as an immediate contender for 2025, but you could group them in with you know Tampa or Arizona teams like that that are gonna be looking to add a piece that helps them make that push.” Howe said.
Jeff finished his thoughts by saying “They need a big time pass rusher and if they shelled out a couple first round picks to try to get Myles Garrett I don’t think anybody would be complaining about that.”
If Terry Fontenot is willing to shell out the picks there’s no reason the Browns wouldn’t trade Garrett to a Falcons team that isn’t in the same conference, and a team that can contend and win right away with the services of Myles Garrett.
