The Arthur Smith offense in Tennessee was a run heavy, play action offense, which helped revitalize quarterback Ryan Tannehill's career. Fans hoped Smith can do the same and more with Matt Ryan, but Smith had Derrick Henry to run the ball in Tennessee. There is no Henry in Atlanta.

"More running, more two tight end sets, more motion...", John Clayton former ESPN analyst said today on Dukes and Bell on what to expect to see with a Arthur Smith offense.

If Smith is bringing the Shanahan type of offense to Atlanta again, Matt Ryan may end up surprising a lot of people in the league who think the quarterback is washed up. Fans and some pundits wanted Atlanta to draft a quarterback this off-season, but after Atlanta restructured Ryan's contract the team will be sticking with the veteran for a couple of more years.

John Clayton joined Dukes and Bell and said the Arthur Smith offense in Atlanta will look a lot like the Kyle Shanahan offense that made Matt Ryan MVP of the league.
