The Atlanta Falcons’ full 2025-26 regular season schedule is here, and while it’s great the Falcons will have at least five prime time games this season there are some unfortunate things the Falcons will have to endure when it comes to travel, quick turnarounds, and an early bye week, so earlier today The Morning Shift explained why the NFL did the Falcons no favors when they made their schedule.
“It seems ridiculous, scheduling conflicts all over this thing I’m talking about Sunday night games on the west coast backed up by primetime games the next week, travel situations, you don’t have, and we used to love this, you don’t have any opportunity for like a two or three week stretch where you get to settle in at home for the home games.” Mike Johnson said
Mike finished his thought by saying “I’m not gonna go out there and say well it’s one of the hardest in the NFL, but the NFL did no favors, and I know we’re not shocked, they did no favors to this organization with this schedule when you mix in travel and opponents.”
Mike also said that he “feels bad” for the players and everybody associated with the organization that the team isn’t getting their bye week after their week 10 game against the Indianapolis Colts in Berlin, Germany.
Atlanta will travel 25,947 miles this season. That’s sixth most in the NFL, and if you mix that with an early week five bye week and a west coast game followed by a cross country primetime game the NFL really did the Falcons no favors with the schedule they gave them this season.
